My Story

Hey, I'm Calley

I'm Calley Kaltenheuser, owner of The Cadillac Cowgirl, a women's clothing and accessory boutique tucked right in the heart of downtown Casper, Wyoming.

I was born and raised here in this great state, grew up on our family ranch, and the western way of life has always been part of who I am.

Wyoming shaped me. And this store is my way of sharing that with the women around me.

"When you look and feel your best, you do your best."

How The Cadillac Cowgirl Came to Be

The Cadillac Cowgirl has been a
Casper staple for stylish women's fashion for over 21 years. I became the owner in July of 2019, stepping into a store that already had roots in this community,  and pouring everything I had into making it my own.

What I didn't plan for was what
came next.

About a month after taking over, I found out I was expecting my second baby. My husband worked in the oil field and was often away, which means I learned to do a whole lot on my own. Then March 2020 arrived, just weeks before I was due.

I will be honest with you: those
early days were hard. But they also showed me what I was made of. I leaned on my faith, I leaned on this community, and I kept showing up.

Because I believed in what this store could be - a place where women walk in feeling ordinary and walk out feeling like the best version of themselves.

That belief hasn't changed. It's
only gotten stronger.

The Philosophy Behind the Fashion

I've always loved fashion, no matter what I was doing. Ranch work, hunting trips, Friday night games, I've always believed you can look good doing all of it. But style isn't about being perfect. It's about feeling confident in your own skin.

Here at TCC, I try to bring in trendy, affordable pieces that work for real Wyoming women - different body shapes, different stages of life, different budgets. No woman's body is the same, and our store shouldn't pretend otherwise. That's why sizing and fit are
always on my mind when I'm at market.

I also carry jewelry made by local mamas right here in our community. To me, that matters. Supporting the families around us is part of who we are.

Calley's Rule of 3

Here's a simple styling tip I share with anyone who'll listen: start with 3.

If you have a top and jeans, you're at two. Add a jacket, a vest, or a belt and now you have three. That's your foundation. From there, layer in your jewelry, and if you've got two necklaces, add a third for balance. A hat, a scarf, a great pair of earrings -
it all builds from that base of three.

It sounds simple because it is. But it works every single time.

A Little More About Me

When I'm not at the store, I'm a full-time mama. My two boys are my first priority, always. We're a wrestling family, so I've spent many hours on the gym floor and at tournaments, watching my boys work hard, win some, and lose some. Those moments shape them in ways that go way beyond the sport.

Faith guides everything I do. I'm not shy about that. I've seen God's hand in this business from the beginning, through every hard season and every good one.

I also serve as Treasurer for the Downtown Casper Business Association
(DCBA) and help organize community events like Crazy Days. This community has given so much to me and to this store.

Giving back is the least I can do.

Mrs. Oil City 2026 - Community Roots

"Just a girl, saying a prayer and putting on her heels to face the day."

In 2026, I applied to be Mrs. Oil City, representing Casper as I compete for the title of Mrs. Wyoming America at the state pageant in late June.

My platform is called Community Roots: Growing Small Business, Growing Future Leaders. It's built on something I've watched play out in real life, here in this store and in this town: when communities support local small businesses, those businesses turn around and invest in our youth. They sponsor sports programs. They hire young people for their first jobs. They show up at school fundraisers and community events.

When small businesses struggle,
that ripple effect disappears. And our kids feel it.

As a small business owner, a wrestling mom, and someone who's been part of this community for my whole life, this platform isn't just something I say. It's something I live.
